Stimulus money and secession.

I’m partially masochistic, in that I will listen to Nashville’s conservative talk radio station from time to time on my way to work in the morning. Usually I get a kick out of listening to the deranged ramblings of Savage, but today was something special. In light of the recent proclamation from LA’s Bobby Jindal about the stimulus money and how he’s doesn’t want it, the host of the show invitied listeners to call in on whether or not TN should take it’s portion of the stimulus. Of all the callers I heard, all of them felt that TN should not take the money. I’m not surprised here, as I’m sure the calls were screened in order to agree with the host. What bothered me was how many of the callers said that not only should TN reject the money but that it and the rest of the south should secede. They weren’t joking about it.

Lolwut.

And then jokes were made about Gov. Bredeson being a Dumbocrat.

I should probably stop listening to talk radio.
